Kristen has been a Registered Massage Therapist for over 15 years, and is joining our crew primarily at our Waterdown location.
Kristen has been registered massage therapist for over 15 years, and a Huna Energy Practitioner for nearly a decade. She brings both of these services to OM, primarily at our Waterdown location.
Her passion to help others, and her holistic approach towards health meant that this profession was a natural choice for her.
As she began her career as an RMT, Kristen quickly understood the importance of self care and the impact these habits have on our health and well being. Kristen believes our body is always trying to communicate with us and when we listen, we will be guided to exactly what we need.
During her own experiences with health challenges, Kristen discovered the Hawaiian energy healing practice of Huna. She was both surprised and grateful for how powerful and effective this new modality was. She knew she had received a gift in finding Huna and was inspired to share it with others.
While Kristen was on her year long initiation, from practicing Huna on herself and anyone willing to try it to becoming a certified practitioner, she continued to learn. She took classes on mindfulness, meditation and attended Gabriel Bernstein’s masterclass in NYC, an immersive training for spiritual entrepreneurs in the wellness space.
Kristen blends everything she has learned to help empower others!
She is excited to share this healing modality at OM. Whether it be a relaxing or treatment focused massage, a deeply healing Huna energy session or a combination, - Kristen looks forward to meeting you where you are and helping you get to where you want to go!
Kristen loves walking in forests, pottery, everything plants and interior design!
